Effective June 2026
Privacy Policy
IronPlate helps you plan workouts, log sets, and track progress. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
Information you provide
We collect account details, profile settings, workout plans, exercises, set logs, workout history, meals, nutrition logs, progress notes, and support messages you choose to provide. Core workout planning and set logging can be used without an account; account information is only needed for account-backed sync, AI food photo estimates, and support.
Food photos and nutrition estimates
If you use photo food scanning, IronPlate sends the selected food photo to our backend and AI service provider to estimate meal name, calories, protein, carbs, and fat. The app shows a review screen before saving so you can edit the estimate. Raw food photos are used for analysis and are not saved in your local meal log by default.
Information collected automatically
We may collect app activity, timestamps, device type, app version, diagnostics, security events, and basic usage data needed to operate, secure, debug, and improve IronPlate.
How we use information
We use information to create your account, sync workouts, save plans, estimate food from photos when you request it, show progress, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, and improve the product.
Service providers
IronPlate may use service providers for authentication, backend hosting, databases, AI food analysis, analytics, Apple in-app purchases, app distribution, and support. These providers process information for us so IronPlate can work. We do not sell personal information and we do not use workout or nutrition data for third-party advertising.
Your choices
You can update workout and meal data in the app, sign out, use the app locally without an account, or request account deletion. To request account deletion, contact support from the Support page or email us directly. Some data may be retained for security, legal compliance, backups, dispute handling, App Store billing records, or abuse prevention.
Health and fitness data
IronPlate is a workout and meal logging tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, nutrition, diagnosis, or treatment advice. Food photo results are estimates and may be wrong. Avoid adding sensitive health information that is not needed for workout or meal logging.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information. No internet service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed.
Children
IronPlate is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy as IronPlate changes. If changes are material, we will update the effective date and provide notice where appropriate.
